Designing for a Guiness World Record: The Brand Behind FaddoTheGreat’s 50-Hour Magic Marathon

Achievements
As the sole designer on the project, I built a complete visual identity system that spanned every touchpoint of the event — from the logo and stage design to merchandise and social graphics. The brand held across 50 consecutive hours of live performance, in front of thousands of spectators and a global online audience. In February 2026, Guinness World Records officially confirmed FaddoTheGreat's achievement — the longest magic show by an individual, ever recorded and the whole story of how it happened on my part can be found here.
Conclusion
This project reinforced something I already believed — that design is infrastructure. A strong visual system gives an event the credibility it deserves and gives a team the tools to keep executing, even without the original designer in the room. I handed over the full asset library to a designer on my team before leaving for NYSC camp, and the brand carried through without breaking. That's the real test of a solid identity.
